About Us
Sounds And Effects sound designers go back to nearly the beginning of sampling in the late 1980's, and were involved mostly with E-Mu Systems creating sound libraries for the samplers E-Mu produced including the Emulator III, the Emulator IV series, and Emulator X. For the sound modules/ synthesizers, Sounds And Effects worked on almost all of E-Mu's hardware synths including the Proteus, Vintage Keys, Proteus 2000 series, Audity 2000, Xtreme Lead. MP-6 drum machine, and created many of the Morpheus' morphing "z- plane" filters.
Other early clients included Roland, Northstar, Q-Up Arts, Big Fish Audio, Island Records, ABC TV, Voice Crystal, More recent clients include Antares Systems and Propellerheads (now Reason Studios).
Sounds and Effects sound designers have been involved in hit record productions as well such as the Grammy nominated Theme from Mission Impossible (Larry Mullin/Adam Clayton Island Record 1995)
Sound And Effects started selling directly to the public in 2005.
